Altered Ego Entertainment         

 

Launched in 1999, Altered Ego Entertainment is a film and theater production company based in New York City. 

 

NEWS: We are now in post-production with the feature film, The Hindenburg Omen. It is the story of a professional tennis player who comes to learn that he is a child of rape and who falls prey to an unscupulous advertising executive.  Cast includes Callen Williams as Farley McMan, the tennis player (here below) and Jason Odell Williams as Jason Haydn, the advertising executive. Max Shuppert helms the camera department. Written and directed by Frederic Colier.  The film should premiere in Sept 08. Click on picture for full site.

 

 

NEWS: In the meantime, Made in China has been selected for the Independent Film Week 08 in the Emerging Narrative category, organized by IFP in New York.  Depending on the script's reception during the market, award? new producer(s)? we are planning to roll into production in Jan 09. It is the story of a crippled HAM radio operator who searches for love on the airwaves and finds his efforts silenced by his envious brother.

 

M & N won the Digital Filmmaker Award at the IFP Market in Sept 2007 in the Emerging Narrative category.  The script, already a finalist at the Sundance Lab 07, was qualified for the first round with the CNC in France.  Its creator is in negotiation with several European production companies.  Shooting is forecast for Spring 09 in Northern France and Belgium.  (Check Pre-Production Page).

NEWS:  The collection of short stories, A Memoir of Absence, by Frederic Colier was released in Sept 07.   This release will be followed by his novel,  The Rain Crow.  (Release planned for Sept 08)
